Five Ways to Avoid Psychic Frauds

One of the biggest challenges if you are new to the world of psychics is breaking the stigma that the whole ideology isn’t real. There are so many doubters in the world, ready to claim that spirits, fortunes and views into the beyond are a complete scam and not worth your time or, in some cases, money, which means there are those who will take advantage of that and pose as real psychics

If you want to commit to finding out and experiencing more, you must do your due diligence, so you are not caught out. Here are five things I have come up with so that you can make sure that your psychic experience is completely genuine, and therefore as fulfilling as possible.

    1. Check website and app reviews

The first thing you will likely notice when searching around for the best psychic for your specific needs is that there are so many options, from Kasamba to Purple Garden and Purple review, just to name a few. I think that choice is great, but within reason, because this means that even the best, most reputable websites and mobile applications can get lost in a sea of mediocrity. When I was in this position and looking to explore, I was careful not to put any money into any website without fully checking them out. Each website will be rated by specific brand reviews done by external people like you and I, but even on the sites themselves have ratings and prices for their specific psychics. The ones I have named are particularly reputable in my experience.

Each person offering a service has a star rating next to their name as well as the fee they charge. Most crucially, though, there will be honest appraisals from customers who have used those people for whatever kind of psychic reading they want, whether it be career or relationship advice, tarot, or another of a wide range of options. In my opinion, this is the most important step you can take.

    2. Look at the state of their website and app

If you find a website that has generally been well received with brand reviews and ratings from customers, then the next step is to analyse the website or app itself. My personal opinion is that some or them really struggle with making themselves easy to read and access, and that can cost them when it comes to authenticity. Purple Garden, for example, really do excel with the aesthetics and information they provide. If a website or app makes it easy to find the right people for the service you desire, and goes further by explaining such things as each different service that is offered, what the options mean, FAQs and how easy it is to make payment, just to name a few, the likelihood is they are more trustworthy. I think that is a good rule of thumb to go on, but it doesn’t always work, because in my experience, some of the best websites haven’t looked the best. But the more information that is on it, the better it will be.

    3. Don’t try and haggle over the price with your psychic

The unfortunate truth of the matter is, even if you are at the stage where you are paying for a reading, you may not be 100% certain that you are being scammed or not. I couldn’t be sure until I had been through the entire process from start to finish. But it is important not to try and negotiate on the price that your reader is charging, because well respected and truthful readers will set prices they believe they are worth and stick with it. If they are willing to reduce their price, they are more likely to be a chancer who is looking to take advantage of you.

Perhaps a good way of getting some more clarification and certainty, which worked for me, is to ask for some free minutes or a trial session, which will help you make an informed decision. Reputable websites are likely to grant this and even offer it as a perk or a way of enticing you, because they want more positive reviews to help with their business. In fact, I would go as far to say that if free minutes aren’t offered, it would suggest a fraud who is just after your money.

    4. Check how long your reader has been on the site for

The longer your reader has been active on one or more websites, the more chance they are reputable and able to give you a great psychic experience. If they have been on for a long time, they’ll more likely have a reputation that they themselves won’t want jeopardising and won’t engage in scams or other elicit activity. The star rating is an an average, too, meaning the more reviews they have, the more weight a higher rating carries. If they only have one or two reviews, but have a five-star rating, for example, then that would certainly arouse suspicion.

Perhaps asking for customer service or friend recommendations would be a way to go. I would suggest asking for a second opinion would be sensible because it would more than likely eradicate any potential issues, especially if your source is a good one.

    5. Analyse the detail of the reading you are given

It may sound obvious, but I found that the clearest way of determining whether a psychic is legitimate or not is in the reading itself. This is high risk, of course, because you may have already paid for a session if you used your free minutes. But it shouldn’t be too hard to tell if your reader is experienced or just pretending to be. There is more to a reading than just telling the future, and the devil is definitely in the detail here. Someone who knows what they are talking about will speak with incredible confidence that can’t be replicated by a scammer.
Because psychic readings are often done online, either via chat rooms, phone calls or video chats, it can be hard to tell without body language. I would, therefore, suggest requesting a transcript of any reading you received. That way you can analyse it again and again before deciding to move forward either way.

To conclude, there are many ways to get caught out by psychic fraudsters, but also a number of ways to avoid it too. These are just a few, and I’m confident that if you stick to this list, you’ll get hooked on what can be a life changing experience.
